BVW - Round 1 Interim

Engine: Unity Platform: Oculus Rift with Leap Motion Duration: 1 week Language: C#

My first team project for Building Virtual Worlds involves a Rubik's cube based game. The player will rotate the cube and move the astronaut character to help him escape from the dragon character. The video shows our interim demo after one week of work. There are still some bugs that need to be fixed and many more assets and features to add for next week's final demo. We are working on teams of five with two programmers, two artists, and one sound designer. As a programmer, I have worked on some of the scripting for the Leap Motion hand controls, and the script to spawn environment tiles randomly on the cube. I've also helped the artists texture their models and arrange them into tile prefabs in unity.
