Last week was the start of our Building Virtual Worlds class at the Entertainment Technology Center. The first assignment for programmers like myself was to create a world in Unity containing models, textures, animations, and sounds. For my project, i downloaded a rigged and textured dinosaur model and made three animations for it in Maya. I modeled some environment assets and loaded them all into Unity and wrote some scripts to create this short interactive experience.
